The Salam Center visits Nigeria.

Luca Rolla- Regional Program Coordinator EMERGENCY NGO Salam Centre for Cardiac Surgery stated that  Nigerian Ambassador (H.E. Habu A. Gwani Ibrahim) visited the Salam Centre on March 2, 2017.

He said that the  Ambassador and the Nigeria Delegation were positively impressed about their  activities and glad to know about their  forthcoming mission to Nigeria.

He also said that they  spoke about the patients operated hence thanks the collaboration with the Kanu Heart Foundation, Organization that they(the Nigerian Ambassador and his delegation ) know well.

He said that he was  very happy to have the chance to visit again patients operated a lot of years ago.

The Salem Center for Cardiac Surgery is run and managed by the Italian based humanitarian organization EMERGENCY. Since April 2007, the Centre provides high standard, free of charge paediatric and adult cardiac surgery.

The Salam Centre for Cardiac Surgery is located in Soba, 20 kilometres south of Sudan’s capital city, Khartoum.

The Salam centre is in partnership with KHF through our principal Nwankwo Kanu. The Centre has operated many patients from Kanu Heart Foundation.

The Salam centre for Cardiac surgery is set to storm Nigeria on Cardiac mission on March 10, 2017. Its visits to patients commences on 11th March, 2017   .   The centre’s mission is a follow up visits of patients previously operated at the Salam Centre after which supply of 6 months drugs will be given to all patients that are in need of medication.
