AFRICAN LEGENDS CHARITY MATCH IN LAGOS POSTPONED
The Local Organizing Committee of the AFRICAN Legends Football United Charity game announces the postponement of the Nigeria match scheduled to hold at the Teslim Balogun Stadium on Sunday April, 30, 2017. A new date will be announced soon.
The Chairman of the L O C Legend, Nwankwo Kanu said over the weekend that the shift in the date has become necessary after interactions with major sponsors and stakeholders of the event as well as the African Football Legends who pleaded for more time to enable them meet with the core objectives and good intentions of the African Football Legends.
Mr. Nwankwo Kanu on behalf of the LOC, Nigeria, regrets any inconvenience this postponement will cause our dear Legends, stakeholders and fans who are faithfully looking up for this match and promised that a new date will be announced very soon.
Meanwhile the South African version of the two leg match encounter will still hold as scheduled on May 27, 2017 in South Africa.
