US BASKETBALL COACHES STORM KANU SPORTS CENTRE, OWERRI FOR SCOUTING & CLINIC

 

 

The 2nd Edition of the Imo Basketball Clinic and Scouting programme Themed “It’s My Dream 2018” comes up from 8th – 12th May 2018 with six Professional USA basketball Coaches led by Matthew Mc Collister from the stable of Juco Advocate Scouting Agency in search of talents.

The five-day Sporting event which comes up at the Kanu Sports Centre Aladima, Owerri will see the gathering of youthful talented basketballers from all over the country undergo intensive open screening that will enable the Coaches pick talents who will like to trade their professional career in the United State of America.

The programme, an initiative of Nigerian Sports Ambassador Nwankwo Kanu (OON MON Unicef Ambassador) to provide an opportunity for talented Basketballers who are interested in plying their trades as well as schooling Abroad.

Among the professional Coaches coming for the event include Daniel Poneman, Shea Frazee, Brandon Gobhe, Lucas Patterson and Ryan Wall.

Leader of the delegation Matthew Mc Collister who was in Nigeria during the first Edition in Owerri last year said they were motivated to come with scouts based on the potential talents that were viable in the first Edition.

Registration for the programme will be done at Kanu Sports Centre Aladinma, Owerri and is open from Sunday 6th – Monday 7th May, 2018. Form can also be obtained at www.kanusportscenter.com
