It won't be a bad ideal if more could be like Kanu Nwankwo. Kanu is like no other Nigerian footballer. He has the largest collection of trophies from the biggest leagues across Europe and as well as FIFA competition and he is giving back to the society, with all his heart, the Kanu Heart Foundation.
Standing above six feet, kanu could as well have opted for the game of football but his father preferred football. He indeed chose the right direction as the number of trophies he has won for his club and country is a record for every Nigerian player. While with Ajax Amsterdam, the club dominated the Dutch scene and even made the name Kanu Nwankwo a world-wide name with their double win of prestigious UEFA champions league. 
In Italy, he became the darling of Inter Milan fans as soon as he stepped out and helped the name of the club on more Italians homes.
Arsenal of England has one of the biggest fans followership in Nigeria and indeed Africa and it's all thanks to the number 25 jersey Kanu Nwankwo wore while at Highbury. The achievement came with a lot of style. Fans up till this moment mimic Kanu's celebration of winning goal against Brazil at the 1996 Athlanta Olympics proudly. For them, Papilo did the country great proud. His dress sense outside the football pitch is quite remarkable like the pattern of his several goals in biggest league of Europe.
Kanu is human also, his Atlanta 96 golden exploits barely went down before his soccer career nearly came to a halt based on medical reasons. 
With grace of God he underwent the heart-surgery successfully in Cleveland Hospital ,Ohio USA and landed at the Highbury with Arsenal.
He, the twice CAF African footballer of the year was moved by the public concern shown towards him that he set up the most famous Charity (NGO) in Nigeria and African as a continent.
KANU NWANKWO HEART FOUNDATION to put back on the road kids and adults with heart defects, KHF, like no other has put a smile on over 400 homes whom their children, brother, father, mother, uncle, sister, and and relations has benefited from this noble cost within and out Nigeria.
