2012-05-17 - Kanu bags Masters of Arts(HonorisCausa)
The President and Founder Kanu Heart Foundation Mr. Nwankwo Kanu MON OON, Unicef Ambassador, has been awarded an Honorary Master of Arts (Honoris Causa) degree of the University of Jos, Nigeria.
The award was bestowed on the two-time African footballer of the year and 1996 Olympic Soccer Gold medalist in recognition of his humanitarian service to the less privilege in the society.
In his acceptance speech, Kanu dedicated the award to all beneficiaries, heart patients and Staff of the Kanu Heart foundation and thank the management of the University of Jos for considering him for this award.
